I had been seeing this tom with two other smaller toms for the last two weeks but was unable to hunt him because the string on my bow broke and was waiting on a new one to come in. This past friday I got my new winners choice string put on my bow and went out hunting right away. I got a look at this bird but never got a shot. On saturday there were tornados so I could not hunt and then on sunday afternoon I went out. I was able to watch this tom along with another smaller tom follow around two hens for over an hour. I was able to set up and have the hens and smaller tom walk right past me before I got a 20 yard shot at the bigger tom. The bird didnt go more then 5 yards and it was my second bird of the year.
