Well it was a decent season but a long one. Start out with Canada Aug 18th spent 8 weeks hunting mule deer, elk, whitetail, Moose, and Bear. What an experience that was up there. But end up with couple nice mule deers and had some great chances at elk, moose and monster bear. Then from there went back to Iowa to start whitetail hunting. Had a lot of high and lows threw out year. Seen some of the biggest bucks of my life and just had some bad breaks on a couple shots that should have gotten me some personal best. Bow hunted till Nov the headed to Colorado for a few days to elk hunt and just my luck i get there and drove up to top of mountain where my friends had camp set up and it starts snowing and snowing and got to point after 3 days solid of snowing I wasnt for sure i would be able to get down if we got much more. So end up leaving and headed back to iowa with out even getting a chance at a elk. But by time I got back to iowa rut had start and things really started happening. Just never could close the deal and a monster. Then I decided to got do some party hunting first season shot gun and end up killing a couple nice bucks. Then finally got to muzzle loader season and weather turn for worse hot and dry. Made hunting extremely tough but did finally get on a very strange rack buck. Got trail camera picture of him for 7 days straight going by my stand. With the weather the way it was I decided it was my best chance to take a decent buck with muzzleloader so I waited till wind was right and first night had him at 5 yards and was done deal. It was a very long season with 131 days in the woods. Here are some pic cant wait till turkey season now.

Here is one of the moose i was after of course this was taken off my video camera day before season started and never could ever get in bow range of him rest of time i was hunting him.
Here is same moose that this guy finally got him right after I left.
Here are a few bucks we watch all year have ton more nice ones to but thought i would show a few.
This guy I have hundreds of pictures and was let go to become a monster next year. He has made it so far and still holding head gear so hopefully next year will get to see him again as a monster.
