I had never seen this buck before Oct 21. He showed up working a scrape line. He started frequenting the scrapeline on a regular basis. Thursday they were combining the corn and it was chaotic so I set up a stand and let it sit over night. Friday afternoon rolled around and I knew where I had to be. After a few bucks rolled into the field, I hit the horns together to see what I could bring in close. A small buck came in looking for a fight, but his attitude changed fast when this guy came and ran him off.
After he tore up the scrape right in front of my stand, he finally gave me a good broadside shot. The shot was a little back, so I let him sit over night. Came back the next morning to find he had only gone 80 yards. I am very happy with this buck.
