2014 Missouri Taxidermy competition

This show had by far the highest degree of talent I have seen at any other state show I've been to. The 2 best whitetails in this show won National titles a couple weeks ago at the NTA. Seeing those pieces really fueled my fire to get to a level that I can compete on a national stage. Here are some pics of the show.

Nice job on your mounts Brian!! Thanks for sharing your pics from the weekend. Def some amazing talent down there!

Wow, I really respect the artistry...rock/moss/leaf base and branch in back (I think that's yours?) - outstanding; otter - amazing; rusty rims - genius; buck reaching for leaves - magnificent.

And hmmm....you're in SE Iowa. Spending two weeks in zone 5 in November. Now I really hope something good wanders by the stand.
