Just thought I'd pass along this e-mail I got from my friend.

A deer farm in Leonard, Texas. These are northern genetics, not Texas.
The big non-typical deer's semen is $7,500.00 per straw.
He is 7 years old and is valued at $1,000,000.00

Penned deer don't do much for me, basically livestock at that point. Kind of nice to look at as I yawn.

Thanks for sharing; I'm not in favor of farm raised deer either but I can't help myself, I love to look at bucks no matter what. If I lived nearby, I would drive by twice a day just to check them out! Then I'd beg permission to shed hunt..... just imagine the ATL's

Shed hunting in a pen would be about the same as deer hunting in a pen. To me it's no different than going to the zoo.

There are a lot of deer in the first pic!! You would have to have a shed picker sorta like one of those machines that drives around and picks up golf balls. If you didn't get the sheds picked up the poor deer wouldn't have a place to lay down without poking themselves.

I amazed those deer can't jump that fence and get out......well not the big bucks but some of the younger bucks.
