A couple...

Don't get too many that come around my neck of the woods until late September, but do have these guys that showed up. Not too surprising due to the fact there is a nice bean field not too far away.

I placed my Bushnell on a fence jump that LoessHillsArcher and I created a couple weeks ago. It's neat to see the deer walk by it the first week and then, the second week figure out it's one of the only places to jump the fence now.

First buck is a buck we/I passed up several times last year as a 2.5. He is a very nice 8 now. I know he's not a giant, but will possibly get an arrow if he looks good out of velvet. He may crack 130, but we'll have to see..

Second deer is a 4.5 or 5.5 year old. We saw this deer very early and then never again last year. Our best guess was 4.5 last year due to body size over the other deer with him. Who knows, I do feel he is mature and will get an arrow if I see him...he may go 130-135 I hope, but I like him and I guess in the end, shooting a mature buck that I like is what I'm after! ;)
