Anyone seeing a good crop?My favorite spot has been dry for two years now.I did find a spot that was pretty active with deer traffic last year but void of acorns to be holding a few nuts this year. This dry weather seems to be hurting the crop.

We have a good crop here in NE Iowa. I plan on doing some direct seeding this fall and the seed contractor said not to worry about acorn availability.

We have a HEAVY crop hitting the ground right now. One of those acorn rakes could pick up a bunch quick!

My swamp white oaks have quite a few along with the bur oaks and northern reds. The white oaks are lacking a little but some have more than others. My farm is 2 miles from the Iowa line in North Central MO.
