Albino Elk in Marshalltown?

Has anyone heard this on the news? KIX101.1 has been talking about it all day today and their phones have been ringing off the hook. People are saying there is an Albino Elk running loose in Marshalltown. The local police and sheriff department as well as the DNR have confirmed it and are keeping a close eye on it.
 
Noo one has heard about this? I called my hunting partner who is up there and he said people are flocking in from all over Iowa to see this thing run around town.
 
It was a fallow deer, and it was tranquilized this morning and put in a pen. Wonder who let that thing go!
 
Never heard of a fallow deer. Looked it up and saw some pics of some and I must say they are an interesting species. I guess someone north of there raises them.
 
Sure is a lot of difference. I was actually listening to the radio station online at work and listening to all the "Elk" sightings. This went on all day long!
