Would you HAVE to put a salvage tag on it? Or could you put a tag on it if you didn't want to take the time to fill out the form? I don't plan on doing that I'm just curious.

Called Jasper county DNR and he wouldn't give us a salvage tag and he told us to put one of our gun 2 tags on it. And I will measure the mass again for you. Thanks for the replies.

any chance you can take a pic any further away? maybe that will help show the mass..tines look thick...and maybe tell us the measurements? I dont doubt ya, just curious how it adds up/averages if that makes sense

I think I took greatest mass measurement in between pts where I read you should be doing it at the narrowest point. Anyway just sharing a deer I found. Would rather of shot him than find him dead.
