I was surfing the TV last night and just cought the tail end of a report on the OD channel. Jim ?, from Albia Iowa shot a 421? green Elk, with gun/bow?, in Montana. I think it was on the cover of Rack, which I don't subscribe to anymore, (I get my fix on Iowawhitetail now) any hoot-n-howl, I was having a few after the fireworks

with friends and didn't catch the whole story, could someone fill me in, thanks.

Used to be a regular here on the site. I bought a muzzleloading shotgun from him through the classifieds a few years back. This elk was featured in the magazine a year or two ago.

Now that's an old boy with some serious head gear. WOW!! Can any elk guys or anyone else estimate how old that bad boy is?
