I shot a buck a few days ago with my bow... a little earlier than anticipated as I had vacation planned for November 4 through the 10th. I am not wanting to sit the rut out! I am considering going to missouri to rifle hunt the rut for a few days. I don't know anybody down there that owns land. Does anybody have any advice about public land down there or any tips that have hunted missouri?

You would be better off archery hunting kansas imo. I haven’t hunted missouri, but know guys that do and i spend a lot of time in northern missouri. Deer numbers are down big time in a lot of areas. I do see a lot of deer north of st louis, but not sure what the public is like there.
