Anybody ever northern kansas turkey hunt?

Just wondering if anybody has turkey hunted public land in north central kansas? Thinking of going there for the archery season this year for a rio? any comments would be greatly appreciated. thanks
 
I have in Lincoln county, I would call that a little more central than north. The hunting is awesome. Are you wanting to do it yourself or hire an outfitter? If you want to go with an outfitter I can get you in touch with my buddy in Lincoln county. Just send me a PM.
 
As of 3 years ago there were a lot of birds & I mean a ton. Not sure how the bird population is looking lately
