Anybody know the story on this MONSTER?

Heard this deer was shot in Kansas. Horn coming out of eye socket is from another deer it was fighting with. I was told of this deer but had yet to see the picture.

pretty sure that is velvet on it so i dont think that it was another deer.

Has been stated that there is a displaced pedicle down by the eye socket that grew the third antler on this buck. That is what has been reported on a few other websites. Supposed to have been checked by the game dept. in Kansas I believe after the hunter took him.

The guy that mounted my dear head, had a buck that did have a nother antler grown out of the side of its skull just like that... Just wasn't as big...

Any idea where I can find an official statement about this deers 3rd antler?

We've been debating over this deer for awhile now, and I'm the only one that thought it was a 3rd antler, and the boys won't believe me unless I have some real proof.

The thread at the above link has some trail cam pics with the third beam in velvet. Not sure how you get more "official" proof than that.
