I was out trimming shooting lanes last week and also was surprised at the amount of mushrooms this year, some of them I've never noticed before.
 
One is a variety of sikli liktious spongiform. It was used by native Americans as a form of hair removal cream. The tan flat one is a pancake on a toothpick. All kidding aside they are all rather toxic except got the lesser morel.
 
4th one down is one of the coral mushrooms. There are so many mushrooms in the fall, wish I had time to identify all of them
