Archery hunting Tip!!!!

Make sure the battery in your rangefinder isnt dead. Mine went dead this morning and I thought no biggie i have an extra in my pack. WRONG!!!!! I found out I cant judge the distance of a long beard worth a dang. Looks like forty yards probably more like 50 to 55. looks like 30 yards? who knows? Needless to say I gave a couple of longbeards some unwanted haircuts but no wounds. In a game of inches It pays to make sure you have a good battery in your rangefinder. I cured that problem with a stop at the local wal-mart.

I also learned this lesson the hard way during late muzzy season. Had the buck that I had been waiting for step onto the field in a different spot than I expected. Went to range him, and it says low battery. Ended up shooting low. Talk about a sinking feeling watching him take off. Still have nightmares about that buck!!!!
