Iowa Archery in the Schools Instructor Workshop To Be Held



Are you interested in becoming a Certified Archery Coach for the Iowa Archery in the Schools Program? Please view the information below.

The Iowa Archery in the Schools Instructor Workshop will be held on Friday March 31 thru Sunday April 2, 2006 at the Conservation Education Center at Springbrook State Park. This training is for those interested in becoming a student instructor or teacher instructor. If you are interested in becoming an instructor for teachers and others to work with students you will need to attend the Level 2 Training which lasts all three days. If you are interested in becoming an instructor who teaches archery to students you will need to attend the Level 1 Training which is Sunday only. All three days classes will start at 9:00 am. The cost for this training will be $20.00 for materials plus the cost of meals. Both amounts can be paid when you arrive at the training. Level 2 participants should be prepared to join either the NFAA or the NAA as that is a requirement. Lodging is available on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at the center free of charge.
