Are you a Morel Hunter?

Many of us are doing some turkey hunting right now, however I find that I have my eyes glued to the ground much of the time when in the turkey woods. Some of you know what I am talking about, Morels!

Morels are just starting to pop up here in Southwest
Iowa. The smaller Grays have been popping up for about a week, but the big yellow morels are just starting to reach to the sky with the warm daylight temperatures.

So here is the question:

I've found a few but never actively hunted them. I'd like to but don't really have the time. Come fall i'll probally make at least one trip for "hen of the woods"

I love to eat them, but i rarely take time to go find them.

Hen of the Woods is also one of my favorites.

My wife and I just picked 9 big yellows out of our back yard this evening.
