so ... I decide to try my stand tonight as an experiment to see how the wind moves on a se wind with a tall ridge to the south of me. Directly west of my stand I have a blind approximately 250 yards away. I see a larger group of deer heading from west towards the front of my blind and they stop there brousing for 15 minutes or so then work towards my blind. Then it dawns on me that they seem decent size and no fawns so I pick up my binoculars. All 8 bucks lol. Are you kidding me right now? My binos are junk so i could make out the antlers not the size but I would assume with that many one I would have been happy with haha. That all being said , if I would have been in that blind I would have been easily winded. They went out of sight for about a half hour towards my blind as I'm imagining them sticking a head inside haha. They headed north to the river at last light.
