Boone and Crockett Lists North America's Hottest Trophy Areas

Boone and Crockett has found the nation’s hottest trophy areas for all kinds of game.
There are nine categories of big game and other wildlife analyzed to find the best places to hunt for the biggest trophies. Listed below in each category are the different sub-species, if applicable, and the three top places to hunt the animal in North America. The numbers represented in parentheses are Boone and Crockett records of kills dating back to 2000.

"Boone and Crockett records have always been a classic indicator of habitat quality and on-the-ground performance of conservation and management programs. The states and provinces on this list are the best of the best right now," said Eldon Buckner, chairman of the Boone and Crockett Club's Records of North American Big Game Committee. "We congratulate these respective wildlife agencies and hold up their work as a model for conservation and game management in the 21st Century."
Alaska remains the top place for hunting big game with appearances on nine of the categories and sub-categories.
