Well I am back and my freezer remains empty.

Hunting was really pretty tough. All of the beans that were labeled in the photo posted earlier were a different catagory of beans than were planted last year. They had already turned yellow and dried up for the most part. The corn was uncut and in some places it looked 9-10ft tall. Bumper crop 60 bushels/acre they told me, cutting it late I guess.
All I saw on this farm were does and not much buck sign.

I hunted a different farm friday and saturday. They cut the corn friday while I was on the edge of it, nothing popped out. That afternoon there were deer coming and going all evening. Hunted there again sat morning. Had two small bucks at about 50 yds (young 8 and a forkie) feeding around in front of me but was waiting for their peepaw to come get his fill of groceries. Never happened. Overall, hot, windy, dry, and dissapointing compared to last year but oh well.
