Anyone hunt Bays Branch? We sat on the east side duck hunting this morning and say 3 different bucks chasing does for about an hour around 7:30. If anyone is familiar with the place, they kept running through finger of trees that come all the way down to the water on the west side. Looks like the rut is full bore around that area.

Duck hunted that for early Teal. Filled out tags. Nice to hear there are some deer too.

Duck hunted for years, but never deer.

I think this is probably one of those very overlooked deer spots, especially during all the early seasons before shotgun. All the deer seen were on the West side. If I live there, I would go on a "what the hell" hunt and see what shows up, especially since seeing them move around the whole time we were duck hunting.
