My friend Mike has been telling me for years that he can call in a turkey without a call. He says he can just do it with his voice. I wasnt falling for it. Yesterday we got to this creek before it got light. We wanted to be the fist ones to hunt it for arrowheads because its a well known spot and we just had a good rain a few days ago and the creek was at the right level to hunt. So, we get out there and he heard a turkey. We got down under a little washout in the creek bank and he did a little clucking noise with his voice. Two birds were talking back to him for a few minutes. Then they dropped down out of the tree and land about 15 yards in front of us and start walking our way. We both jumped up at the same time and they almost did backflips lmao. It was pretty fun. Anyone else ever call in a turkey with no call?
