Best Box Blind

Currently looking at getting my first box blind — Primarily used during late season archery (Ohio). In open AG field, prefer it to be elevated.

Seems like the market is saturated with any and all types.

I’m looking at a Redneck ($4200’ish) or a Diamond ($4700’ish) … both with towers.

Any thoughts or recommendations will be appreciated.

build or have someone build you one. I've built 5 so far this spring for others.
Sturdy as hell, and they run about 3300.00$

Diamond is newer so a lot of folks won’t have experience with em. I’m extremely impressed. I’ve also heard good things on grizzly but I haven’t tried one.

I have Redneck(3), Banks(2), Shadow Hunter(2), 360(1)and a Grizzly(1) . I’d put Grizzly first, but, they nickel and dime you on accessories ie shelves, lighting, window blinds, 4 x 4 inserts if you build your own tower etc. Redneck, Banks include those things. I’d say Grizzly, Banks and Redneck are above others. Can’t go wrong with those 3.

I agree with your assessment. Love Banks. I have had issues with the door handle lock. Not well made and glitchy if that’s a word. Both locks broke and I installed padlocks.

Curious why everyone not a fan of Rednecks?
Windows leak like crazy. Floor warps. Fiberglass cracks in corners. Window gaskets (foam) degrade and 9 million flies get it. Winder operation requirea alot of movment and locking in a sting. And if it ever hits ground its guaranteed falling apart.

Have had a rotomolded blind blown 100 yards by a derecho and was completely fine.

I need to verify the brand, but I have one that is a leaker, even when new, that I would never buy again. My other blinds are: 3 Banks blinds and 2 360 Pro XL's that are all very nice. I would buy the Banks or 360 Pro's again anytime.

I have had rednecks and still do. They start out nice but agree what others have said. They leak and don't last as they should for the money.
Rotomolded is the way to go IMO. More sealed up and will take a hit of they end up blowing over in a storm.

After over 38 years in this business and selling (and using myself) MANY different brands of enclosed blinds I have a lot of thoughts and experience on this.
You need to compare construction of blind, Warranty, accessories and their pricing, Blind Price, Customer Service, Time in the Business, etc.
I have sold some blinds that really turned out to be junk and some that the company went out of business and left us hanging - Not good!
One company I have dealt with and still do that excells in every single category is BANKS.
They are family owned, Lifetime warranty, great selection of accessories, solid one-piece rotomold construction, Amazing Customer service and around 30 years in the business of making blinds.

Another vote for Banks. We have two that have held up really well even after one blew over in a windstorm. Also glad to see the vote for 360s from Daver, just placed an order for two after seeing them at a local taxidermists shop. Really like the windows so you don't feel like you're hunting in a bubble with windows.

I love my Banks.. don’t own a redneck but have been in some. I think the Banks would survive just about anything Mother Nature would throw at it. Don’t think a redneck would. Have been extremely impressed by the cheap Ram blinds lately so it might be awhile before I buy another Banks even tho they are worth the $$.

So far so good on my 3 Rednecks. Doors are fine and zero leaks. I don’t like the glass windows though. That said my Banks are great. They’re hard to beat.
