In the last 4 years of turkey hunting (which were my first and only years of turkey hunting) we were unsuccessful the first 2 years, killed 3 jakes and 1 tom the 3rd year, and 1 tom the 4th year. This year we managed to kill 5 toms and 1 jake in just 5 days of hunting. The difference this year from all the other years was preperation. I saw an enormous amount of progress in our hunting skills, and its a great feeling of accomplishment!!
