Buck down! Went out the morning of Nov 1 after passing up a nice mature 8 the night before. Right away in the morning I had activity, with a young 8 passing directly under my tree stand. Not 20 minutes later, I heard a grunt coming from behind me. A doe and buck had jumped a fence and were headed into a beanfield about 50 yards behind me. The buck, I thought for sure, was gone as the he and the doe were headed away from me. But, 3 grunts later and he did a 360 and came back broadside at 20 yards from my tree. How sweet it is when things actual work out like this (and the deer doesnt continue heading away)!
