Building a trail cam

I have been thinking of building a digitial trail cam. I recently stumble into a Fuji A330 camera with in my price range. Has anyone tried to use this model yet? Everything I read, people are using the Sony's or Olympus. I am trying to reinvent the wheel or will I be able to make this work?

not sure if it will work or not. hacked one fuji, and it was NOT the easiest thing to do. Id stick with a sony for sure.
