Put out my trail cams out today over so corn and mineral lick they love. Still deciding when to check it?

I agree with iowabucks, they only start hitting minerals hard in ealry May. Since you have corn out you could check in a week or two to take inventory of the deer that made it, after that I would wait several weeks unless it's at a location that's not near their core area. Wear rubber boots even when checking cams.......

got 2 new cams so i put out 2 mineral licks as well yesterday and checked one today ,just to see if it was working ok and 3 deer visited it. soon as the salt hits the air they start coming.
