Casualties and Crappies

Did some good tonight on the crappies, almost every cast for an hour and a half... fingers are raw from cleaning.. On the way down we found a B-52 bomber dead in the water... very sad. Not to often you find them dead.

Here he is ... crash and burn.

What ya catchin em on? They moved up shallow yet? Right before ice starts to get thick on the river we get up around old duck blinds and brush piles in 1-2 feet of water and nail crappie on little jigs. Cant wait. No monsters like during the spawn but good numbers.

nice slabs!

im not too sad to see a dead Pelican.

those stupid things eat a minimum of 3 lbs of fish per bird per day....
thats not cool

There's only one thing better than a dead pelican and that's a dead cormorant. Really dislike them both.
