Those things must be tough. We planted around 200 of them along some bedding areas this year and it looks like 90% of them have survived this hot dry year. I went out expecting the worst
I dont see Red Cedar on the list of evergreens for sale on the state of Iowa site. Anywhere else that is a good place to get them? Am I just missing it on the Iowa site?

I have this vague memory now that there may have been a problem, disease or something like that, that they had last year for red cedars. Maybe they don't have any to sell this year...
I just order some from cherokee county soil and water conservation district. They will be in next spring with local pickup. the consrvation district does this for a fund raiser. If nw ia pick up is ok maybe try them.
