We heard that 6 cases of CWD were reported in Northern Sioux County in Nebraska late last week. Sioux County is in the NW corner of Nebraska, 400 miles or more from the Iowa state line.

A press release will be released soon from the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission.

Are these the first cases of CWD in Nebraska? I sure hope it doesn't reach our state...I wonder how far this disease is going to spread? Thanks for the update.
