Clover Help

I frost seeded Alice white and chicory and had perfect timing. I checked last weekend and the clover has sprouted everywhere in my plot. My problem is the rye grain I broadcasted last fall (that never sprouted due to lack of rain) is booming now. So much that seems like it will hold back the clover. What should I do? Use Clethodim to kill all the grasses & rye? Thanks!

I have experienced similar with fall planted rye and clover. The rye will spring up now, turn brown in July or so and die off. Unless that disrupts something for you I would let it go, it will take care of itself. I think you are probably OK as is.
