Covert Cam to Phone

I know this has been talked about in a thread but i have yet to see what you guys think of it? Do you go with the pay as you go plan? (I'd have to the AT&T signal isn't good enough to use everywhere.) If so how much are you paying a month for your phone? Can the pay as you go phone be cancelled at anytime? I'd only like to use it for 4-6 months a year? Is the setup easy?

AT&T is what I use - it's a little rough on the signal but can still get the job done with more open skies and up more on a hill. I'm at least 4-5 miles out of the coverage zone and still can get pics.

Yes, get the $0.99/minute plan (obviously won't get the minutes) and you pay $9.99/month for 1000 texts or 19.99 for unlimited texts/emails. I think $4.99 is for 200 texts.

Anyway, it is a go-phone account so you pay as you go and let it expire if you don't want to use it. We use it though January and that's it.

Awesome, so just call to put more text on it? The only thing I'd have the phone for is strictly the pictures from the camera...that's it, no hidden fees ... So for 20 a month I can get 2000 pics?

20.00 I think gets you unlimited.....

You don't need to buy a phone...just ask for the SIM card for free and then pay $20.00 to activate and then set up your camera...
