Coyotes Eating Deer

If coyotes have gotten to your deer and only have eaten 1/3 of it, like a rear quarter and some of it's back, would you salvage what meat you could get or give the whole deer to the dogs?

No I would not eat it either. You never know where they may have bit in thru the hide.Yeah you should see a puncture in the meat, but our coyotes are nasty and I would not want to pick thru their leftovers.

I've only yotes get to a deer once before I did. I salvaged the back straps and front quarters. I would not hesitate to do it again.
