I agree with Chris, give me a break on the $50000.

I suppose Bass pro offered him ten million bucks for them too!
 
Nice deer and a nice find certainly. But worth $50K...? I'd like to know where this guy gets his information and like to know who his buyer/appraiser is.

I agree. It's too bad certain people think money before anything else.
 
There's no way that's worth $50,000...he was blowing it out his you know what. Those bucks were big but they weren't unheard of big bucks that generate heavy cash. They were just two really nice heavy racks that got tangled up and they died.

Still, heck of an encounter...even if they were worth $50,000 I doubt I could part with a mount like that. There are some things money can't buy, and waking up and seeing those two bad boys fighting everyday would be one of those things.
 
I saw this in the Sunday Gazette yesterday after my mom pointed it out.

That video is good about showing the mass.

$50K is closer to his taxidermy bill than what he'd get for selling them.
