CWD Testing

Has anyone else recieved a card in the mail from the DNR saying that you must bring in your deer head to be tested for CWD? I recieved a card in the mail this morning stating this. It said that I had been randomly selected. Just wondering if anyone else has been selected.

haven't heard a thing about it and I got a tag for early muzzleloader and bow season . maybe you could ask blind sow about it
I do know that they have been testing some local road kill deer.

A friend of mine who does taxidermy on the side, caped out a deer Sat. and saved the brain tissue for the DNR. They (DNR) sent a notice to the hunter weeks ago stating that he was selected to participate in a random deer test for sampling should he get a deer. Sounds like they want to stay ahead of the issue.

It's a good thing they are going to test your deer this year after the one you shot last year. I've never smelled a more foul smell in my entire life. See ya this weekend in mad/adair county.
