Decoys

Was wondering when some of you guys start using decoys? Also when to use doe or buck. Thanks

I use the boss buck decoy have never used a doe decoy. I wait until I start seeing bucks cruising. Or when I hear reports of calling/rattling working on the big boys

I use both at different times of the year.

i use the montana decoy's does. seem's like the doe's attract does before the rut and during the rut. if a doe is being chased by a buck and the doe see's the decoy it will come to it bringing the buck with it. also a cruising buck will come on a string if it see's the decoy to check it out also it seems like after the rut has almost stopped the does don't like the decoys and will not get near them, have gotten my last 7 bucks using these decoys would not hunt with out them.

I killed a doe over a doe decoy last night. has a small buck come in to the doe decoy also last night.
