Had one out last night and had a basket come in on a string from 150 yards. Now is a great time imo!
Ive had success with a doe decoy only when hunting during the first two weeks of november. I take the legs off the decoy to make it look like its bedding in the corn and set it in between two rows of corn so that it stays up. It sounds odd but Im telling you Ive had more success with this than a buck deke... Good luck
i've used the Montana decoy doe's for seven years use three of them and have tagged out each year on bucks during the rut best was a 158 1/2 rest were all 8's or better, they all came to them when they seen them,does also come to them but they seem to not like them after the rut and late season, i would not go out without using them if bucks are cruising every one that see's them will be in the area for a shot.:way::way::way:
