Deer Hunting is for wimps

I wonder why they were shooting the Lion? A man killer,,public menace? Or just for fun or trophy? Shame if just for trophy. My phylsophy is, if your not going to eat it, why kill it ? Unless of coarse the creature is causing some problem, like overpopulation, or killing of humans.
 
Just for the thrill of the hunt I'm sure.. But nothing on that thing will go to waste, the natives will make sure of it. I didn't actually watch the video just guessin
