the footage on KCCI TV last night of the water going over the emergency spillway at Saylorville lake and the four bucks trying to cross the swift moving water? Two of them got to the middle and tried to turn around and and get back to the bank but were swept out of the camera's view, the other two did not go in as far and made it back and ran along the bank as if trying to keep up with the two that were swept away. Hope they made it out.:(
 
Dang wish I would have seen that. I was at West Cab sippin' on $2 Capt n Cokes. :D The caption under the photo says 5 deer and says 3 were swept downsteam, not 2. Also said the drop was only 5 feet, so if they kept their heads above water they probably were okay. The 2nd buck to the right is pretty wide. :way:
 
I live really close to there and probably have seen and gotten pictures of some of those bucks before. Hopefully they made it out alive.
