Only that every bowhunter in town or maybe eastern Iowa is talking about it. Guess he emptied out the sporting goods store when he stopped by to show his nice buck to a friend.

Any chance this deer was taken in the Halpin/Russel/Chariton area? I ask this because about 30 men that I work with seen a tremendous deer in the back end of a pickup one morning in this area (actually they seen the pickup just north of Russel on Hwy#34). Described as "tall and massive with points going everywhere". If not the same deer then there is another biggie down. This word came from several seasoned hunters who have seen thier share of big deer. It had these guys drooling. Anyway, just wondering if this was the same deer they had seen that morning.
