I haven't had much of a chance to bow hunt these last few years so my harvest has been zilch. That all changed last Sunday.
Sat all day in the wind and saw a few good bucks chasing does. Had a couple bucks close enough to stick but had to kill a doe first. I FINALLY got the chance about 4:45 in the afternoon. Had this beauty and a small one come right in underneath me. This was my first ever straight down shot of all my 14 years of hunting. I connected with a great shot and now have meat for the freezer and best of all: I'm buck hunting!
She field dressed 101.
