Unfamiliar with the xc-3 but the Ulmer Edge looks to be a really good head - lots of excellent design features. I really think they could take over the Rage as #1 mechanical if people would give them a chance.
I'm thinking about trying the Ulmer Edges this year. I've watched a few videos on them, and they look like great heads. In years past, I've used Rages, but this may be what it takes for me to switch to something else.
