We all know how these things get started but I was wondering if any else happened to here about a World Record buck taken in Van Buren County. This moring on a local radio station here in Southeast Iowa they gave a brief story about the potential "World Record". This is all I know, they did'nt say if it was typical or non-typ. or give a score. The details are sketchy, time will tell if there is any truth to it. Just wanted to know if anyone else heared the story or had more details.

There is a place called Troublesome Creek Outfitters in Keosauqua down in Van Buren Co. that might know. They have a site www.Troublesome-creek.com where they display some of the buck shot in the area. You can also contact them thru the site to inquire about the possible world record buck. I will be shotgun hunting there second season and will ask around then.
