Fall clover/ww prep

I have a couple of places that are currently grasses/weeds that I am going to plant winter wheat and clover in this fall. We want to plant something in there now for summer browsing. Are there options that are better than others with the clover/wheat in mind?

I'm putting in a annual clover (crimson) and oats. Then plow that in and put in a Paul Knox mix in the fall.

Dbltree mix like stated above, which would be seed oats, berseem, crimson & red clovers. OR - you could do soy beans, realizing they are great grazing/feed, fixing nitrogen & if you spray with round-up like you need to, you'll have a clean seed bed for your August-ish plots.

I think I am going to do the beans and spray them twice. Then just broadcast the ww and clover in when the beans turn yellow.
