It was getting late in the season so the night of January 4 at 430 this guy comes out and i got ready for the shot. 200 yards broadside. I laid the hammer back on the ol Tc and let er roar. At first i thought i missed low and then he fell over got up and fell again. I could see him laying from where I could see he was still alive. Not knowing for sure about the shot I let him lay till morning. Went in the next morning and there he lay. Perfect shot right behind the shoulder. He not the biggest I've shot but he's the first deer I've killed in three years due to the service so Im tickled to death with him.
