First blood from NC!

Took this doe this evening at 6:45. 10 yard broadside shot.

Almost didn't happen. when I came to full draw my right leg started shaking uncontrollably and the stand was rattling really really loud. She stopped and looked up at me and I sent the arrow between 2 trees. I really wanted her to go 4 more steps into my shooting lane but that wasn't gonna happen.

Had her in the truck and at the house before dark!

Are you hunting over a tobacco field? What were your temps today? Only 98 deg up here, perfect hunting weather.

Was hunting a patch of oaks between a neighborhood and the tobacco field. about 89 degrees today.
