I was turkey hunting last Saturday morning and unfortunately, set up in the dark practically right underneath the birds.:( Needless to say, they hit the ground at first light out of range and headed away from me.
As I was leaving this guy started barking at me. The flinter did what it was supposed to do and this guy is in the freezer.
Now that the gun has made meat, it's time for larger critters.:way:

Tree Rats are certainly good eating, and I wonder how many sheds you saved Jay? :way:

Any guesses as to how many squirrels were killed with muzzleloading firearms to feed families back in the early days when this country was being settled.
