The first weekend out finally did it after 5yrs. what seems to be long yrs.. A 26 pounder down. Just sittin there afterhour an a half startled by the ol drum an spit which sounded like it was gonna come through the tent. He finally came round to strut for the dsd hen then circled the dsd jake and decided to attack as soon as he settled down the arrow was flying. Hit him at 10 yds. ran 20yds. piled up only bout 21 yds away. Pics will follow.
Following day went out after 2 an half hrs. 5 jakes came in I could not resist so Hornhunter Jr. and I drew back and slung em arrows at 15 yds I hit he went 15 yds. and dropped. Jr. missed but half hour later took another jakes head off. so that was a part of the Great Weekend in the Field which was posted way earlier.
