First Hunt

I went turkey hunting for the first time. I went with my brother and a friend in 2nd season. I went out and sat in a blind. A tom was gobbling on the roost and I called a couple of times so he knew where I was. He flew down and I called one more time. He slowly made his way to me until he seen my decoys, and then he came in running. I shot him at 15 yards. I was done at 7:20. It didn't last long but it was a lotta fun. We had 3 toms by noon.
3 birds 24-28 pounds - 1 to 1 1/2 spurs - 10-11 inch beards.
