Finally decided to get a trail cam put out this year and I decided to try a spot that we've never hung a cam before. Before going in we spotted four bucks about 100 yards off...one with four points on each side and another with six to eight inch brows. Unfortunately, neither of them has decided to pose for the camera yet. But we did get one buck on camera multiple times each day. I'm not very good with aging deer so early in the season. Does anyone have any ideas on how old this guy may be??

2 1/2...his beams are starting to grow up and he doesn't have that much mass. Keep an eye on this guy, he may blow up to something big in the future. Just my opinion! /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
 
tough to judge at this point in the year, but if you held a gun barrel to my temple, id say 2.5
 
I would say 3.5 from the size of his gut! I just heard the older you get the bigger the gut gets! /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif
